*** How Many Times Do You Think It Will Take Ryanh To Pass The Bar Exam? ***

the length of the test has little to do with how easy it is to pass...

i'm just guessing here, but i have a feeling ryan went to a low ranked law school. i say this not because i think his reasoning or arguing is poor, but because i believe he's 29 and i'm just guessing he didn't take the traditional route to an upper crust law school. that, combined with his propensity to party, leaves me guessing he will fail at least once. there's certainly no shame in that, btw....

Runner: Nope I'm not at a low ranked law school. Why go to law school, if its ranking is low. Law school is way too expensive for that.

I'm actually 28 going on 29, and waited 2 years after college to go to law school.

The GA Bar is notoriously easy. I'm not going to take the BAR stoned, I was only playing. I don't do pot all that much. Now, the NY and CA bars are the ones that are feared. If I smoked too much pot, I would never quit eating and hence I would be a fat ass-----since pot has the effect of making me eat far too much.

But when I was majoring in English and Philosophy, smoking weed from time to time really helped me earn good grades---I'm convinced of it.

In all seriousness, law is too techinical....I could never study law stoned.....although there are times I wish I could.:fro: :fro:

Clam, a month or so ago I posted that I thought RyanH came from an affluent republican family, lived in the burbs, went to an all white school and drove around in a car that his parents bought him pumping rap. HE TOLD ME I WAS DEAD ON! So...don't let him bullshit you. PS. JFK was a moron too.

Judging by my evaluation of lawyers I've seen on TV (i.e. the lawyers on CSPAN whining during the presidential election about the Florida situation who couldn't even complete a single sentence without some form of stuterring... jeez think of what you're going to say before you say it.), I must conclude that the bar exam is very easy and that RyanH will rape it on his first try - despite the fact that I don't like his whiney leftist ass. =)

Good luck.

Well, from my experience with the Bar Exam in Texas, aprrox. 80% pass. So, as long as your as better than 20% you should be ok. I've taken computer certification tests that were more difficult than the bar exam. Just dont see why anyone would actually want to practice law?

Anybody inpaticular jealous that Ryan is giving it a shot?
I mean, May. Do I post on : HOW MANY TIME WILL MAY FAIL HIS COURT REPORTING CERTIFICATION???
You have your dreams, he has his. So be it, if it takes him five times, or once, a dream is a dream. Once Ryan passes the bar, his dream is acheived. At that time, he would be allowed to practice law. Whether he takes the test repeatedly is inconsequential.

Crazy -

The reason that I began this thread was because Ryan and I were teasing each other about our debate/arguing/critical reasoning skills. I thought that because he was in law school, he could whoop my ass in any argument; he could not. Hence, I teased him that he wouldn't pass his bar exam. This post was not meant to put him down; I believe he knows that.

As for passing the court reporting licensing exam, I'm sure I'll pass. I'll be taking many many many practice exams first. Also, I do very well on tests. I passed all four sections of the California CPA examination on my first try.

The only bar exam I want to take is one that I have to try to stand after about 10 shots of my buddy Jack. :D

BTW, good luck Ryan
