I was told to always aspirate when injecting because you want to hit the muscle and not inject directly into a vein. I have aspirated every time I stuck myself. I have only shot up in the ass, is it different for other areas? Is it more important to aspirate if you are shooting say in your shoulder or your quads? What areas are you more prone to hit a vein rather than the muscle?

years ago on my first cycle i did not aspirate. I hit a vein in my glute and became very dizzy. scared the shit out of me and i aspirate all the time now. I even practice aspirating when im not injecting. I might just right a book called "The idiots guide to aspirating"

However, when u aspirate, you should only pull back a 'miniscule' meaning a touch. Don't worry too much about hitting a vein...it'll hurt, but you just don't wanna hit an artery.

Always, I still don't understand the guys who don't. It takes about 1 sec to do and will prevent you from waisting gear and not to mention save you from a 10 minute coughing fit.

I know this is gonna sound stupid, so I apologize in advance. Exactly how do you aspirate? Do you move the needle or just draw back the syringe? If you hit a vein, how would drawing back on the syringe move the needle out of the vein?
