How many of us watch WWF?

Just curious, some people admitit, some watch are behind closed doors and don't want anyone to know. I love watching and I'm proud to admit it. Anyone else? :)
 
I watch it sometimes but I'm not one of those fat fuck's you see walking around immitating wrestlers and wearing their cloths.j/k. But I did have a degeneration-x shirt back in the day. Remeber that? D-x was the shit!
 
I Live for the WWF.... I even train a bit at an independant wrestling school in a suburb of my city... I had to take some time off, dut to hurting my back and all... but I plan on getting back into it sometime here by the end of February.

It's really fun, for those of you who are athletic enough, and love wrestling, there is nothing like doing a match ... my heart was racing the entire time (and it was only a PRACTICE match)... getting put in a russian back drop... suplex... all the cool moves... it was awesome... I felt like one of the guys on TV. :)

I went down to Atlanta and tried out for the WCW. Three day thing, they just kick the shit out of you. I ended up winning the try out, but the their was a 6 month training program, then maybe you got to wrestle at shows. It wasn't for me at the time, but I do regret not trying. I saw Billy Kidman, and Evan Karagias was in my try out class. I could of invaded WWF!
 
I watch it whenever I can, but my wife can't stand it so sometimes I need to compromise and watch what she watches. Wait! What kind of compromise is that? :(

Never compromise wrestling... give up every other night of the week... but never, I mean never compromise wrestling....

when steiner and the NWO were kicking ass in the wcw....i was hooked but now i watch wwf when i can, which is a couple times a month:)
 
theres a guy at my gym who almost looks *fatness* and dresses same tattoo's and even spells his name same. as bam bam bigelo.
 
My favs were "The Outsiders" loved the one time they ran the Steiners off the road with their car. Some real bullshit but really entertaining.
 
I'd have to say that WWF/WCW seems like nothing but a soap opera for men to me.

Sure most of them can be considered Athletes.. but I don't see the point of watching it if it is not real.

I was speaking with a mutual friend that we have, and your affinity for wrestling came up.

He watches consistently and relays some of the info to me as I normally catch just the last 30 minutes of Smackdown due to my commitment to the GYM.

BTW: the bigger HHH upper body gets, the smaller his legs look...especially in those 1980's jeans.

Not only do i watch it !!I am a pro wrestler on weeknds with 3 independent organizations in Georgia Iwas trained by the living legend Dory Funk JR.
 
I have watched for years and no matter who I live with I always get my roomates hooked on wrestling. By the way you gotta cut HHH some slack on his legs he did tear his quad 8 months ago but you are right his upper body is just enormous.

YEP. MY WIFE HATED IT. ALWAYS SAID ITS FAKE AND STUPID. 2MONTHS LATER IM RECORDING IT FOR HER EVERY MONDAY AND THURS NIGHT...LOL
 
Watch when I can for the entertainmaint value. I always like to see The Rock run his mouth about how he is gonna lay the smack down on all their candy ass's.

But Alas sleep is way more important than TV and I have not seen much in the last year :(
 
I dont watch it as much anymore, now that I am in the bussiness, and i have met alot of the boys, and I feel I know way too much to enjoy it like I used to... and maybe soon in a another year or 2 you all can watch me getting my ass kicked on WWF tv...lol

If I am not watching Fox News, TLC, History Channel or Discovery I am watching wrestling. I have to balance out all of those educated shows with pure unadulterated entertainment.

I can't stand the pseudo intellectuals that tell me that wrestling is for rednecks and morons and that it is fake.

Using this logic my argument is that if you watch "Friends" or "Everybody Loves Raymond" you are a bigger idiot than any wrestling fan. Those people are fake and they really aren't friends. In wrestling at least my "fake" actors take chair shots to the head and fall dozens of feet to entertain people. I never saw Matt LeBlanc take a chair shot to the head and bleed all over the coffee shop!

In the 80's I was a big Macho Man fan. I now like HHH and Angle. Most hated wrestler of all time for me is and always will be Hulk Hogan. (The cheesey bastard!)

a good friend of mine back in the mid 80's lost his medical practice for scribing roids for many of the wwf guys....i used to go over his house and guys like hulk hogan, brutus and a bunch others names i cant remember were there when they would have mathes in town....that was the beggining of making them illegal
 
wrestling is fake but......i love every frickin minute of it,,its like a male soap opera, i still shit my pants when Stone cold bought Kurt Angle that little cowboy hat!!! It was frickin hilarious

Hi Citruscide. I didn't know you were a wrestling fan. I did some wrestling myself; my trainer was Jacques Rougeau (former wwf IC champ and tag team champ). It was a lot of fun. I have been watching wrestling for 15 years now. Did you send your tape for tough enough 2? If there is a tough enough three; you can bet your ass I'll be there. It's funny how many people on this board connects with each other. What'S your personna?!
 
Whenever I can, I love it - I live in a psuedo fantasy world and sometimes pretend i'm Tito Santana and closeline tha fuck outta my lil brother.
