how many miles to run daily?

Hard to say. What do you weigh vs how many calories burned per mile at your bodyweight.

This is from google: simply multiply your weight (in pounds) by the number shown. For example, if you weigh 188 lbs, you will burn about 107 calories (188 * .57) when you walk a mile, and about 135 calories (188 * .72) when you run a mile.
 
1 hour of intense exercise will burn about 500 calories for a man. that can be higher or lower based on your weight and other factors

a chipotle burrito has 1000 calories. so diet is so important. you can see why people spin their wheels with weight loss.

you can technically just exercise or just diet right to lose weight.. I've done both :) when i was running 40 miles a week i was eating pizza, pasta, pancakes no problem.

and then i've cut way down doing water fasting, or calorie deficits, or water fruit diets.

but when you COMBINE both you will have much more success
