My Stang will get about 17 or so when it is running nice and steady at a good speed. The Viper, forget about it. My wife and I are picking up a Hemi Charger Srt8 Super Bee and I don't even want to think about what that will cost to keep running.

I think I may buy a little car like a honda or toyota just as a daily driver. A while back I had a corolla. That thing would sip gas. $20 for a week or daily driving.

Mixed city, I get about 17 or 18. Highway I get 21 to 23. Had one tank of 25 between Flagstaff an AlbQ. Granted, that was down hill with a tailwind....

everybody has a breaking point. eventually when gas is $7-8 a gallon then some of you will be complaining just like everybody else was when it was the price it is now. if doesn't do it, maybe $10 a gallon will do, but sooner or later the thousandaires will whine about gas prices just like everybody else.

Yep, breaking up with my ex fiancee was the best thing to ever happen to me. I met a great person. She is everything I could ever ask for and more.

As for the new charger being a pos, I think not. 420hp from the factory with superchargers already on the market. Also as you get older and need more space, more than two doors starts to appeal to you. It may not be old school Mopar (and nothing ever could be) but with Hemicuda's and old Charger costing 200k or more in so so shape, I'll take what I can get.

Old Mopar ain't all it's cracked up to be anyway. All Chrysler ever had was cheap horsepower and flashy styling. Their chassis were pigs. At least your Charger has the bones of an E-Class Mercedes underneath the skin.

17-18 and 21-22 hyw. Lexus SC400. For a V8 its kinda gutless, but that doesn't stop it from sucking gas like no tomorrow. I've been thinking about getting a Viper, my brother has owned 3 since they came out, now thats a car with shitty gas mileage! Of course if I go that route I'll be selling the SC400 and getting a different daily driver.
