How many is too many?

Ok, so Gillette refuses to be topped, so they came out with the Fusion Razor. Not 4, but you guessed it, 5 razor blades in the cartridge. Anybody try it yet? Of course I bought it because I hate shaving and I always think spending stupid money on overdone razor blades that probably costs 2 cents to make will change my mind or something. I wonder if Schick is going to come out with 6 razor blade cartridge.

I am waiting for the two headed razor that shaves both sides of your face at the same time. Would look like a wishbone with death heads.

I won't buy another razor till they hit ten blades though.

There isn't any kind of metal on the planet that would stay sharp enough to de-wool your furriness.

too many blades will give you lots and lots of ingrown hairs, so i think any advances are going to be in terms of flexibility and lubrication

that vibrating shaver thing is a great gimmick...some girls i know bought some for, uh...yah

I use the Mach 3 razor and it's the best razor I've ever had except for a cut-throat I had in my early 20s. It's always a nuisance to shave off the growth after you've left it for a week but the Mach 3 just doesn't clog up so long as you keep rinsing it.

It can't get better than this unless they introduce some of the cool features already mentioned in ths thread.

When will it end? I haven't found one that works better than the Sensor. What sucks is when you find one that you like and you can't find replacment blades.

Mach 3 is good too, especially since I shave my head.

Next development could be a razor that emits hot shaving gel as you use it
