When I was younger...I once picked up a hot girl in a bar by loudly proclaiming "Oh my God, she's perfect!" to my friends. Eye contact and a smile followed....which led to hooking up later on. Not sure if that qualifies as a catcall, but it got her attention and it worked.
I know a guy who is the most obnoxious prick I ever met to women...he jeers, says stuff like 'you look real good in that short skirt, why dont you pull it up a little'...'why dont you come over here and suck on my beer bottle' etc etc...

I've always found that amazing too. I know a guy just like that. A total jerk, but he's had some hot girls over the years.
