how many cc's are your implants???

I may have to look my implant size up again, I think they may be under 400 cc, 365-75 I think.

If you can avoid going under the muscle, I would. There are cases such as smt who didn't have a lot of breast tissue, under is more appropriate.

All of the FBBers I know are having the unders taken out and put over.

These are the issues with under the muscle:

- they cut the pectoral muscle

- the implant will change shape as you flex your pectoral muscles

- muscle has a lot of veins, so if you do drop bodyfat, you will have veins on your breasts

Thanks for sharing your experience.

Altering my body is a HUGE decision for me so I may just keep taking my good ole time. I have appreciated this thread! I went for several consults last spring and still haven't committed for this very issue of over/under.

Thanks ladies...

That is smart took me over a year as well to find a Dr that i felt comfortable with and decide on what I wanted. I am absolutly happy with my results :D

Best way to approach it.

I thought about it for about two, then asked about surgeons and did research for a year, saw six of the most highly recommended surgeons over six months, which cost me about 600 pounds ($1200), and then just went for it.

It was one of the best gifts I could have given myself.

I didn't mention this, I am a bit lower bodyfat now, and I see some ripples in my breasts (they are liquid), but when I point out the ripples in my cleavage to a few of my mates, they can't see it.

Implants will never be 100% like real breasts, but they can be pretty close.

BTW, they also feel like they are a part of you. They can be slightly colder than the rest of your body at times as there is not as much vascularisation.

Also, I gained sensitivity in my nipples. It was a bit bonkers for the first months when healing. It subsided a wee bit, but they are still more sensitive than before.

300cc's. If I had to do it over would probably go with 250cc's or something under..

I've been thinking about getting mine, but I'm afraid. I don't want them to look bad but I haven't really done much research yet. Right now I'm a 34A/32B. I'm really small and don't understand where it's gonna go! I want to go to a small D, but I still have a bit before it all happens.

Does anyone know of any good Drs in Nevada, California or Arizona??

Also, what is average cost of the surgery?

Thanks!!

I went with low profile under the muscle 320cc's which brought me up to a 34D, with the size of my ribcage and shoulders they are perfect. I actually healed really quick but it took near a year for them to drop completely due to size of my pec muscle. I get some weird distortion when I'm doing pec's or any upperbody movements, but that doesn't bother me. Do your research, Breast Augmentation and Breast Implants Information Web - by Nicole is really good. You can search your body type, weight, cc's, cup size etc... even see before and after pics.

Research, research, research...

Just wanted to let you guys know I am having surgery this Thursday! The last few months of body fat loss and added muscle pushed me over the edge :-)

I think size is a personal decision and one that should be thought about - you are changing your body and you want to be really comfortable with it. Remember that larger, fuller etc. breasts are not going to increase your self confidence. Matter of fact, I wouldn't even dare consider them if your self confidence isn't already normal/high. Several women I know that have had surgery love their breasts in private but are insecure with them in public.

For note I am 5'3, 129lbs, 19%bf - I was a 34C and now a 32B at best (of recent I only have 2 32B bras I can wear). I have minimal breast tissue and have to go under the muscle - 325cc's. I have no bra size in mind (although I kinda hope some of my old cute bras will fit again - I kept some for memory sake ;-), I simply chose what felt most comfortable on me and also had the doctor take my shoulder/waist/hip measurements and determine the right natural size for my body.

A key concern during this time is not lifting. Although I have trained extremely hard the last 10 weeks and my body is ready for a break, I love being in the gym. I will be focusing on diet (developing one now) that will allow me to retain my lean muscle mass while not gaining any bf- perhaps even losing a bit. My doctor assures me that I can do as much cardio as I feel like I can do. I will begin with recumbent bike and progress back to the treadmill. My doctor and I plan for me to be recovered and able to train by January.

Mrs_Sly - there is no rush. I went for my first consult back in March and have gone three times since to talk to the doctor and try on sizes. I took clothes with me to try and my doctor even let me take two sizes home over night to wear for a bit to see which one I was most comfortable with.

Perfect... thats exactly what I talked to my doc about... I didn't want to be large just have my body in proportion. I was blessed with a great Doc, I didn't even know how many CC's until after the surgery. He also explained to me that the shape I had before would be what I had after just bigger.

I had org wanted the tear drop shaped implants... he said I didn't need that because I already had that shape and it would be an overkill... he was right. I love the work he did, they look and feel natural.

Good luck girl...

A good plastic surgeon is not only technically skilled, he is an artist.

Implants also vary with the size across the base, which you want to also consider (or make sure your doctor considers).

Just don't get anything on the cheap, as I have this funny feeling that cheap clinics buy in job lots of certain implant sizes and everyone gets the same if they want 350 cc moderate profile, which could mean you have two half looking balls stuck on your chest that are situated too far apart.

I also asked that my implants were placed as close together as possible, obviously some of the end result depends on what you have already, but there is nothing worse or screams 'fake' than having implants that sit several inches off the center of your chest.

However ladies, think about this, breast augmentation is one of the most commonly performed procedures each year, yet you don't see hundreds of women walking around with porn star breasts.

I think people get the wrong impression about implants as the women who are going to be getting their breasts out make money from their breasts, so they go for the exagerated over the top pneumonic size.
