If he was to rely on diet ,cardio ,and training only. How low could a guy get his bodyfat percentage without using steroids ,or fat burners like clen ,T3 ,DNP ,NYC ,ECA ,ect...? Assuming that he was deticated and disciplined enough to stick with the program. And his diet ,and exercise routine were in check. Thanks guys.

I have competed naturally, The best that I could do was 6-7%.
When you are dieting naturally the biggest problem is that if you are not careful you can end up losing a lot of lean mass in addition to fat. Everyone's metabolism is different. I could not do a lot of cardio while dieting. Dieting and training was all that I needed, cardio made me lose lean mass. Use the mirror and the calipers as your guide.

You should be able to get into the single digits, don't overdo the aerobics or else you will lose muscle and your matabolism will drop.:)

WRONG!

Cardio will raise your basal metabolism and you can drop well into the single digits.

I hardly lifted but rode my bike tons and was tested (in the dunk tank, thank you) at 7%!

Will weights raise your metabolism more than cardio? Who cares it almost the same.

Will cardio eat muscle? Yes if you go overboard. Since I'm an endurance athlete my size is limited by the amount of training I do; which is fine with me-my concern is how fast can I ride 100 miles on my bike. So being skinny is a problem-if I gained more muscle it would actually be detrimental to my sport (power vs. weight issue).

However if you are wanting to gain mass naturally and lower BF below 10%, you need to:

1) Dial in your diet to a science

2) lift a lot

3) do some cardio (probably not much more than 2-3 hrs a week)- and try to get your heart rate up doing the treadmill at 120bpm HR will get you no where. Give out your age and I can tell your what HR zone will provide the most benefit.
