How long has plastic been around?

seriously think about it, plastic pretty much makes the world go around, everything is made form it

but when did it start to become widely used? like in the 40's-50's?

can you imagine life without it?

I love you plastic, dont ever change

The very first plastic was unveiled by Alexander Parkes at the 1862 Great International Exhibition in London. This substance, which the public dubbed Parkesine, was an organic material derived from cellulose that could be molded after heating, but retained its shape when it cooled.

that girl was on a BBC show about the human body and when it fucks up.

I think she has the same disorder that the guy in Mask had (not the Jim Carrey one, but the one with Cher).

Where the bone reacts to stress by quickly growing - so instead of a bruise, you get bone growth.

From what I have heard of it, it actually goes away in many people after they hit the age at which their bodies stop growing - then they can have surgery to correct it in many cases if not too severe.
