How long do posts on this board last?

I was shocked recently when a coworker of mine who prides himself on his hacking abilities pulled up all of my posts from a different chat board. All he used was our office's IP address. It makes me a little more conscious of what I say on the web. Do these posts get deleted after a certain time period?

They have to eventually be deleted. Doesn't it use up memory to store all of these posts?

I think all the usefull threads with good info stay so people can find answers with a simple search.
