How long before my college peer is kidnapped/killed?

Ok, so I was on reasonably good terms with this guy during college. Great guy. Really, one of the kindest people I have ever met. However, he was one of those weird kind of nice guys. Never had a girlfriend (the one or two he was in to he stalked to the point of creeping them out), devoted a lot of time to charity work, extremely religious (like curling except educated), so on and so forth. One of those "peace is the answer to every question" type of guys.

After college, he moved down to Watts (hes as white as a sheet, by the way) to teach Christian religion to the inner-city kids. About a year after that, he began travelling abroad doing the same thing to places like South America, Europe, etc.

Well, about a month ago he made it down to Israel to...I dunno...sightsee I guess. Anyway, my wife got an email from him today saying that he had crossed over into Palestine. For what reason? To try and spread the word of God like he did in Watts. On top of that, he didnt bring his Visa. Not like it matters anyway, as he said he is planning on staying there a while.

No, he is not there with any group. Hes on his own.

So, how long before something tragic befalls this good-natured yet somewhat naive individual? A month? Three months? A year? Or will he somehow make it back into Israel without his Visa (one of the most guarded nations on the planet)?

Hate to admit it, but with no support structure and no Visa, a pasty white boy walking around arguably one of the most violent places on the planet trying to convert its residents to Christianity isnt going to last too long.
