I have never seen or worn a bench shirt in my life. I heard they can make your bench go up a good solid 20 pounds. How hard are they to put on/ wear. If I bought one would it be impossible to through a reg t shirt over it so know one would know? and wear it normally. Me and friends are gonna have a bench 1rm contest and with this shirt it would def get me the win

open backs are easier on and off but you will most likely need someone to help you get it just right..

first off it is possible to get 200lbs from a shirt HOWEVER do not think that you put it on and voila you go fromma 225 bencher to a 425 bencher overnite..unless youre a natural that is not going to happen..only by practicing in the shirt with proper form will you be able to get the most out of it..dont let anyone else tell you otherwise..

i lift in a reg BB'ing gym so when i put my shirt on or briefs people look at me strange..I find it extremely funny that when i squat people come up to me more and ask me questions about form the box etc..generally they are psoitive and want to learn..However when i put my bench shirt on its the complete opposite my brother overheard a few guys saying how its all the shirt i cant really lift the weight etc..ignore those people..my point is dont be afraid to be different in your gym

you can wear a shirt over them, but they will still be able to tell you have something on under there, your arms will stick out, and you will look like frankenstien LOL. how much you get from a shirt depends on the type of shirt, the fit of the shirt, how much experience you have in a shirt and how strong your lockout power is. most people who compete with shirts, train to compete in shirts, with exercises that help the shirt bench, lockouts, board presses etc, the ones getting 75-150 out of thier shirts wear tight shirts, that will not even allow your max unshirted bench to touch your chest, and have very strong triceps. if you were to jsut throw on an entry level shirt, without training for a shirt bench you would be lucky to get 25 lbs from it. and if your not planning on competeing i would not use one, but if you are learn all you can about shirts, take the time to get a proper fit, train your lockout, and 50-100 lbs form one is very possible. a bench press and a shirted bench press are 2 different lifts, so if you don;t have time to train for a shirt bench before your max contest, i would not even bother.
