how fast do you bros run on the treadmill???

For those of you who use the treadmill for cardio, how fast do u run??? Do you use and incline. I can get my heartrate up to 140 at 3.5 mph and I hate cardio so I hardly ever go any faster. Also when go faster i feel like im putting too much stress on my legs and joints and such. I know this is a training question but you can ask something over there and not get an answer for a week lol.
 
I do a 2.5mph walk for warm up, then run a mile @6mph, take a break @ 2.5 for about 1 minute, then run another mile @ 6-6.5mph. Then I repeat until Im tired. All in all I burn around 350-450 cals per session.
 
bro, low impact is the way to go to preserve muscle ....i do about 10 mins on the bike, moderate speed, nothing to fast, im not trying to be lance armstrong
 
I tried riding bike for a few months and it really didnt do dick for me. I hate running, but I get a way better burn going on and I burn more cals. The reason I run is because Its hard for me to lose that extra last %'s of bodyfat and Im not on any gear or supps. Ill most likely tone it down though, to a brisk walk over a longer peroid of time.

Running is terrible for your joints.. If you read any running magazines, I bet you will find at least one article regarding knee injuring sustained from running. Bike, or other machines which don't require you to jump, like in running, would be just as affective and with out the injuries.

To much cardio will make you loose muscle...
