How does this Plat Chat work????

When i sign onto Elite, I see this Plat Chat box with a list of names? but no chatting gong on whats up with that? Am i doing something wrong??

People are just boring. Someone makes a post "Go to the elite chat! Please!" and then you go there and no one says anything.

When Tuc is online plat chat is usually moving. Now it is dead as hell went in made some noise not a word from anyone.
