No, this isnt oil lol. must be out of print and the fucked up thing is I threw that book away a few years ago when i moved. could have had a c-note.

I bought a set of CD's about marketing for lawyers for about $150 and turned around and sold it for $75. Then, a few years later when I was opening my own firm, I decided I would buy the CD's again even though they were not great. The same CD's were $1300. Needless to say, I didnt' rebuy them.

Probably out of print.

Happens out here all the time - the old houses have great great grandchildren out of the area that come out when everyone else is dead to clean out the house.

Books get boxed in crates sold for x$$ per box and there's actual fights between the locals to buy up these boxes because inevitably there's old, out of print or signed books of huge value that gets auctioned after the fact.

A few years ago a signed Hemingway was found I don't remember which one but I remember it went for several 100 thousands.
