How does MP3.com work??

How exactly does that site work?? Do I just register and can download all the MP3's I want from these unheard of bands? Or do you pay a fee....... Im a little confused...... (I know that is hard for you guys to believe........ me being confused)

I use Morpheus... I just want to check out some unknown metal bands and such......... I thought mp3.com was the place where many upload mp3's to be downloaded for free

if you are looking for some new unsigned bands mp3.com is pretty cool... also allows me to get my music listened to and critiqued and listened to, and if anyone ever buys it a % of the money. Yeah it's free to register and download all ya want. here start with mine heheh http://www.mp3.com/tsom

depending on what type of music you like they have a lot of alternatives to offer... especially if you are into any kind of electronic music.
