How does everyone like their STEAK cooked?

I like my beef medium rare as well. The problem is I'm paranoid about disease and bacteria and all that sort of crap so I usually cook until its well done, just to be safe.

Raw.

Well, not totally raw.... but almost. Just cooked at very high heat so that it's more or less browned on the outside.... if it still has a pink tinge that's fine. In the middle it's still dripping and cold.

I zap it in the microwave for a few seconds beforehand to kill all the microbugs and stuff.... I don't wanna get worms.

Bloody very very bloody. Cook it on each side for about 2 min just to get it warm.

Medium rare on all steaks. Except prime rib of course. GOOD STUFF!! Nothing like some good Horse Radish with it.

Nah I like mine well done if i'm doing it myself (just to be sure).
Eating out, medium, a little pink in the middle.
For those who like it well toasted apparently the burn is carcinogenic. But if you don't smoke you got a few spare points so don't worry
