How do you train while having a life?

I'm thinking of taking up Triathalons again, I did 3 Sprints tri's 3 yr.s ago. We moved, I sold my bike and want to start up again. I have 2 kids in school and go to school myself. I need a training plan to get all the swimming, biking, cycling in M-S. My weakness is the swim. I also would luv to shed about 15-20 lbs. Currently 140, 5'5 19%BF. Also, I want to build my leg/shouder mucles. Any suggestions would be great!!

I think the honest answer is training becomes your life. After kids, husband and school of course. There just won't be room for too much else imo.

The positive is, I'm pretty headstrong when it come to training, both kids go to school from 8-3, I only have 1 class a day and hubby is at work from 8-5. I think the sprint distance is doable, if i break up the w/o's.

I don't have a life. Running my own company gives me a lot of flexibility in training. And triathlon is not a cheap sport.

But it looks like you have a lot of time on your hands. Just make sure you have that man a warm dinner and clean children waiting for him when he gets home.
