How do you stop a sunburn from peeling?

keep em moisturized is all that you can do at this point. Once the skin has healed a bit, loofah off the dead cells.

I smeared lotion all over myself. It still hurts like crazy. Funny thing about lotion...I hurt, but I smell really good right now :).

Emu oil will help to ease the sting and heal the lower layers. The top shit is dead. As Heather said, just wait a bit and loofah off the dead cells then moisturize the new skin with more of the emu oil. I tell you that shit is golden.

Are you fair or dark complected? If you are like half my family (so white they are transparent) sorry but you dont tan - you red, no matter what you tell yourself - you red. :lmao: If you are dark complected like me then you will still maintain a tan.

No, I rarely burn, and I'm olive skinned. I just didn't put any lotion on my legs this time.

believe it or not, if you just want to soothe the hurting from a sun burn, tea is the best thing. Brew up a pitcher and then pour it on your legs after the tea has cooled. It has a chemical in it that works wonders.

One of my daughters and my sister's daughter are so white they are transparent. My sister's little girl has whiteblonde hair and blue eyes. Goodness when they would be on the beach I would make them wear T-shirts... seriously. It was painfull to just THINK about the sun on their skin.

I would also got into the habit of putting my girls' hair into a ponytail on top of their heads as if I parted the hair then two of my girls' (the fair ones) scalp would burn. So it was just easier to put them all up like that. My girls had the most stunning long hair.

Really, it has so many uses. Well worth the money. Anyone that I have recommended the stuff to has LOVED IT.
