do you guys use a planner? laptop or a pda?

I used to have a pda but never got used to it so I went back to flip phones. I bought a new laptop in hopes in keepin all my shit in tact like finances, diet, work etc... problem is that, by the time I get back home last thing I wanna do is jump on my laptop.. so basically that was a failure. I'm gonna give it a second try now with help of outlook express and such

Give the PDA/ Computer combo another try. Use all the features of Outlook Calendar and Tasklist. If you are in a company wth Exchange, you can share calendars, assign tasks, have resource calendars etc. We use blackberrys and DELL D620/630 laptops. Works for us... be my company is tech consultants... we are all geeks. If you need hints/ help PM me.

post it notes

folders on a computer

calendar in my webmail program. accessible anywhere.

todo lists in my wallet.

lots and lots more stuff. that's some stuff.

being organized = saves time = more efficient = more money.

things that don't matter to me. i don't even try to organize. my fridge: i just throw shit in. I don't care. My gf spends hours organizing it. I find that so silly. How do I make money with an organized fridge. lol. Hours of stupid debates usually follow!

i am not organized ordinarily, but my job requires me to be VERY organized. It's all deadlines and planning.

I have a pda, but i've discovered that actual writing is so much easier and faster, that keeping a day planner was better. I also use outlook and a white board in my office.

Hey Stilleto, any word on the job you applied for?

well, not over the weekened, no.

i did go on the interview, and did very well, even though the job scares me a bit. Great salary, but that also means a lot of responsibility. Some of which is stuff i'm not good at (budgets and some stuff I never even heard of).

Last I heard, they said they were very interested and needed my permission to do a background check.

thanks.

and scary.
:)
They mentioned things I'd be doing that are a mystery to me. research stuff, budget stuff, things with numbers and statistics.
yikes.
I don't have a degree in marketing- i've just worked in it. which means the sum of my marketing experience is really just what i've done at my last 2 jobs.

i suppose I should relax- if they feel i can do the job, i should.
