How do you open your Ampoules

I was trying to open a SUS ampoule yesterday and accidently ended up breaking it. F**k, $17 gone to waste. These glass ampoules are a pain in the ass.

I usually just hold them firm in my hand and snap the top clean off...

I use to score around the ring with a file and then snap them off, but i got a little lazy. Either try scoring them or even get an amp opener...

Buy an ampule opener from MR T, nice little gizmo. Works great for amps with thick necks

I score them, then take TP, wrap it around the lower half, and take a pen cap and snap the top off.

Drill hole in board, insert amp to its neck, snap that sucker off.

it would be much easier if sus came in wax bottles. You could drop them and not have to worry about them shattering. no more struggling to ge them open and no more amp openers. Thats it, Im going into business.

Do a search on this. I recently started my first cycle with Nile Co Sus and Primo (extremely thick amps).

I posted a detailed set of instructions for another newbie after I mastered opening the amps.

I'm too lazy to search for it now, but you can probably search my postings and find it in no time.

To Themachine01 just for the hell of it I ckicked on the e-mail address you had and sure enough there were the Nik-L-nips just like we used to buy. They sure were good ,so was being a kid. I think I'll play with my Slinky,Lincoln logs,Erector set.

I tired it that way and I crushed the amp. between my fingers, wasted all my Deca, I was pissed but then I got an amp. opener and it is real easy to use.

Thats what i'm paying. I know its a little high but my source has good shit and i don't mind paying a little more, if the shit is good.

An amp opener is only $6 at the AF Store. They work fine.
