How do you kill pop-up boxes?

Im getting sick of my internet explorer. everytime i open the damn thing, i get a pop up box. is there any program or other way to get rid of this?

There is a way to fix it. Unfortunately, I'm not a computer guru, but I'll bump this up for you. My friend fixed mine for me. I was getting so tired of windows popping up while I was trying to jack it!!! AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!! That's frustrating shit.

Go to Tools, Internet Options. Make sure your home page is listed correctly. That is, not as an IP address.

Also, to get rid of them as they pop up, hit CTRL W.

Sits in the taskbar so it's easy to turn on for surfing annoying warez sites, and easy off when you go to legit sites which use popups. No need to muck around in IE settings and then reopen the same site in a new window.
