how do you eat after lifting?

Shakes are snacks.

I make sure I eat plenty of food.

After event training, we usually cook up some burgers; burgers and beer. One night, we didn't want to cook, so we stopped in at a nearby pizza joint and ordered a large pizza with A LOT of meat (sausage, bacon..etc.) and beer (of course).

eat light, non greasy foods before you lift!!!!!! I use to eat bacon and eggs before my lifts, and soon found out that was the wrong approach. Now i eat a couple pieces of burnt toast, and maybe a hard boiled egg and a bolw of cereal.

oh yeah..that reminds me, Im ordering out tonight, a 16" Hawian Delight!!!! It has bbq sauce chunks of chicken and pineapples.....fuckin great!!!!!!

I lift on my lunch break. As soon as I'm done I walk next door to the Kroger and get a half gallon of skim milk and a protein bar and spend the rest of my day at work downing it. Then I eat a couple of dinners at home. The milk has really helped me the last few weeks to add on some extra weight. I'm gonna keep it up.

Id suggest looking for ways to relax calm your nerves wait it out a little then when your heart rate is somewhat normal again SWAIN like a motherfucker! hehe

I have a shake right after, 45g Protein and 50 carbs, then an hour later 8 oz meat and some of the new pasta I've found, it has 30g Protein.

No shake here.

- one big chicken breast.
- a big bowl of natural oatmeal mixed with 25 g worth of protein from a good protein blend.
