I usually discard my needles in trash cans away from my house; other times I have ditched them by breaking them down and throwing them out peice by peice on the way to the gym:p How are you guys disposing the evidence???

take the pin off the syringe, tape the 2 together, put the empty amps in toilet roll and tape, tape the 2 together then dump in a public bin.

also you shouldnt break apart ur things and scatter them in public places, someone could cut themself on the glass or something.

I get off pretty easy here. My wife runs a medical clinic so she can dispose of the goods pretty easily. Its also nice that she does my injections. Nothing like a professional.

I dispose all of my needles in my empty N-Large 2 10lb tub. When full-- Duct tape the lid up good and dispose.

I throw all my amps in the regular garbage can becasue they are little......... the needles I put in a big siplock bag and waight till it is filled and then I throw them away in the garbage can the day that the garbage goes out....

If it's your bin......be careful!!!

I see some threads saying that they put in their own trash can. That is not the best idea. Law enforcement can take garbage bags out of your trash can as it sits by the edge of the road and rummage through it looking for probable cause to obtain a search warrant. This is if you are under any suspicion. Let's face it, an old syringe contains a small amount of juice in the screw on needle. You just cannot get that little bit out. This can be sent off to their lab to test and wait for result of the substance to come back. Here in Florida, all they need is two peices of probable cause to get a search warrant.

This may seem extreme, but it's just a little something to think about next time you throw it in your own garbage can.:D
