FYI, this is the car I'm talking about. Getting close to making a decision. I ask this because although I think white looks really fucking nice, I always saw myself in a black car (can't beat black, it's a classic, etc). But the interior is important too, and I'm thinking about doing something less ordinary than black leather and burl walnut trim. I'm looking at red leather interior.

If I could get that in sparking graphite or black sapphire, I'd probably do that...but pickings are slim since MY07 is basically over and this car is hot. I could snag one of the last build slots for 07, but then I'm looking at September pick up. I want this car this fucking week, before I have to go back to work.

This is the 335i coupe in alpine white, coral red interior and brushed aluminum trim. As of Wednesday, this was still available. I talked to a dude today (guy I met in person for the test drive, etc. last Saturday), and this one still showed up on his search.

Oh dear! Let me warn you about red interior. Sure it looks sharp when you first get it, then the sun comes in and fades it in spots and then you get pink and lavendar. Trust me. I've had it. You don't want to do red interior. If you do, you better tint your windows so dark it's crazy.

HR, you're killing me here. i don't see this car, and certainly not this combo, as a ghetto choice. the association just isn't there for me, although i do agree it's more conspicuous and flashy than what i'd normally go for. that's my primary reason for hesitation.

i will get it tinted, almost certainly. the white with tints will be siiick. tints are cool in general, and they'd be awesome with the sparkling grahite or black cars as well, obviously.

just as long as this doesn't strike you as geriatric, lol.

every brown dude drives black man, i use to work retail at Marciano and every brown dude would run to the black shirts etc.. trust me i do it too i think its some pre-wiring to make us look lighter!
