How do they make those Photo montages that make an image, like someones face?

I'm sure you've seen those pictures that are of someone's face and it is made up hundreds or thousands of small pictures.

Do they just make a photo montage and imprint the face (or whatever) image over it of does someone actually spend hours trying to figure out what pic, and which color to put in a certain spot?

I"ve downloaded software to do this. You basically point it to the folder that has all your pics you want to use and it runs overnight trying to figure out how to get all the pics sorted out to look like the pic you decided it should look like.

I had a couple of shareware ones that did this. Some are def better than others. It's always best to have a boat load of digital pics. At least 100, if not 500, then the resulting pic turns out pretty neat.

go to www.download.com and do a search for it. I can't for the like of me remember what programs I used. It was like 2 years ago, so I'm assuming there are better ones out there now.

Shut up, there is not.

I know the little Chinese boy that does all of these. He is chained up in my neighbors basement. The photos are delivered to him - my courier, mail, UPS, speeding train, etc... then he has to be told what the resulting image is supposed to be and he takes exactly 37.2 hours to complete the task.

The fee is $3.7 million dollars.
