How do people respond to your training, pos./neg./what?

my friends from high school all understand and support what I do,the new friends in college think im some hardcore fucker because all I do is eat and workout while at school between classes,I have had almost all of my friends ask for help but nobody ever follows through, ive found a nice way to decline now because im so pressed for time I cant take the time to show someone how to do good form or what exercises do what

I haven't gained much size yet, mostly because I'm just loosing BF% right now, but most people at work, friends and roommate freak out at my diet. They can't understand why I don't drink sodas, eat fast food or go to the gym instead of hanging out drink beers with them.
It's always encouraging, though, when I run into some one whom I haven't seen in a while and does not know of my "lifestyle" change and they tell me how thinner and more solid I look.

Gotta keep on truckin'

On the flip side....

I got a friend who recently asked me if he could come with me to workout....he is 6'4 and weighs about 160 lbs. Skinny ass kid with a fast metabolism. Anyway i've been teaching him how to use all the free weights (squats, deads, etc.) He seems genuinly interested and i hope he'll stick with it because i can see he needs something to give himself confidence....

Mostly positive.

Im sure many will be able to relate to this:

When I started out some friends and family told me wow your getting big and I would say yeah hopefully il;l be boigger in 6 months, and they would reply "you look awesome now anything bigger and you wont look good"

Thinking back I was tiny back then

I remember getting that comment a number of times also. Was small back then too.

I can't wait to start working out at home, there'll be a lot less distractions.
When I get into a house this year, I'll start putting a gym together too. I think it's cool how most houses come with a gym attached. Most even have 2 big automatic doors for ventilation.
People should stop parking their cars in there though, that's just insane.

My partner think I'm crazy for the way I lift, which pretty heavy all the time 6-8 reps max in each set with forced reps at times...but she's hung in there for over 2 months and is making crazy gains!

lol...you honestly tuning your garage into a gym? Don't you have winter???? Number one, I hate getting into a freezing car (driveway all night) and scrapping the windows.....#2, I hate training in sub-degree weather.........what are your plans? carpet the garage? drainage? Etc..........
