i used to have a problem holding 315 for 2 reps when i first ditched the straps. I can do a single of 425 DL no chalk, EASY. Just work on it. When you get to the bottom of the lift reset your grip. I dont do shrugs anymore, just power cleans, deadlifts, and squats heavy and my traps have gotten bigger. Sidebends, the weight you should be using you have no need for straps. Just work on it bro, you'll thank yourself later.
