How Do I Know If I Have Gyno?

Are there any ways I can go about determining whether or not I have gyno without going to a doctor? I plan to as soon as I can but right now I want to see if there are some tell-tale signs that will save me the trouble.

The part of my chest underneath the nipple... on it I can grab just as much skin/fat as the part above the nipple. When I flex, I can get just a little bit more skin/fat on the lower portion of the chest.

I'm ~12-13% bodyfat.

I don't have a direct answer to your question, but I tend to hold fat in my lower chest area which disappears when I diet down. I thought maybe I had some gyno, then I dieted and everything seemed to tighten up. In fact, a buddy of mine was convinced he had it to and went to a doctor. The doctor said it was fat, since then he trimmed down and it went away. So there is hope. :D

I might have mild gyno. I'm not completely sure, as I also have excess body fat, but I feel hard lumps under my nipples. I don't think you have a problem if the flesh that you can grab is soft.

A hard little "marble" under your nipple that is sensitive to touch can be an indication of gyno.

Check with the Anabolic Board. Loads of good info there. Both on AAS induced and natural.

I saw a thing on VH1 or MTV about a bodybuilder that got plastic surgery for his gyno. Soft and flabby isn't gyno. Hard tissue that's sensitive is. I thought that I had a mild case for a while but it's just fat - almost all guys hold it right there.

Hard tissue... that's sensitive? I have a hard rock under my areola/nipple (not below, actually under the skin right there) but it's not at all sensitive.

doesn't have to be sensitive. it's sensitive when it's growing. if it's old and stable, from puberty perhaps, it likely isn't sensitive at all.

Go see a doctor, who knows..

I think I have a little natural gyno. I hate the way it looks but I don't think I'm going to do anything about it (surgery-wise). I'm hoping it will be less noticable if my chest gets bigger overall :)

Hard lumps are a good indication that you have gyno. Alot of guys get puffy nips from certain steroids, that go away periodically or after their cycle which is not true gyno (I get this from tren and deca, but again, no lump and it always goes away). How large are the lumps?

LK, that sounds like natural gyno. No, it will not go away with time. There is no difference between gynocomastia caused by estragen from steroid use and that caused by your own natural estragen levels. 99% of all cases of gyno are in non-steroid using men, sorry, that is just how it is. Try some femara or arimidex, it may help. Tamoxifen might be a good idea as well.

I had those same lumps back when I was 15-16. They disappeared around 18. Just give it time; it might not be an issue later.

Like BodyByFinaplix said give a anti-e a go, it might help.

Where would I go about finding the anti-estrogen stuff for the best prices? More info on it would be much appreciated...

Oh, and how would it help exactly? Stop it from getting worse? Or make it start to dissipate?

Does this happen in most guys, so I'm not really alone here?

Also, what caused this? Is it normal or did I eat too much of a certain type of food or something?

It occurs as a result of crazy hormones during puberty. I'd chill out on the anti-e's right now. Wait til you're 18 or 19 and then consider it.

Did some more research and found a bunch of before/after pictures for gyno - and it seems what I have may just be something normally occurring in teenage years.

Body, you claim it won't go away. However, several sources say that if you're an adolescent (me being 16) that these things tend to go away in 75% of males who have it. 15% are unfortunate but even still, that gives me hope. That, and mine don't look like breasts. I always joked saying they did in some ways, but I see these guys standing sideways as I have before, and I really don't look bad at all. I look like I have pecs with a little bit of excess bodyfat, as my whole body has.

I'm hoping it will go away once I reach early adulthood and purberty ceases fully and my hormones balance out more. I read also that drinking tap water, and dealing with alot of plastic-encased substances (milk jugs and plastics holding foods, or water bottles) can somewhat increase estrogen, though I'm sure those are such trace amounts it won't matter.

Even still, it's good to know. I'm going to go to my doctor soon and ask him if he thinks it will be the type of case that will subside after my hormonal imbalances come to an end. I still plan to try one of those anti-estrogen pills or whatever they are you told me about, just to dim the chances of it occurring to me. Anything will help right now.

I said it may not go away. Its possible, but I wouldn't count on it going away on its own. Seriously, I would look into tamoxifen and letrozole.

Re: how to get rid of man boobs by using a power t shirt

I have had this problem on and off for many years and found that surgery is the only way that I will get rid of this chest flab.

I now wear a “power t shirt” that looks like a regular t shirt but makes your chest look flat when you wear them under your dress shirts or even your black rock n roll shirt. No more nipples sticking out!

You can get them at www. chestfxstore . com if you are interested. I highly recommend them.

If you are working out, you can use this method until your chest flab is gone. These shirts give you lots of confidence because it kind of holds everything in place.

I have a girlfriend and she thinks that they are just regular t shirts so no one will know that you are wearing a power shirt underneath your clothes.

I hope that this helps you guys.
