How do I increase appetite

b12 shots work well but also just force feed yourself for about a week... after this your body and mind will become more accustomed to larger meals making them much easier to consume. just train your body into thinking it needs more frequent or bigger meals.. it takes about a week or two but it will become second nature after a while.
 
I smoke ciggs but not pot. Im diabetic so what i do is take a load on insulin which will bring my glucose level down and what happens is the brain notices your sugar has droped and you will have to eat to bring your sugar up. I find myself eating so much to bring my sugar back up that it makes me sick. You have about 15 min periode b4 your brain will know your sugar has gone back up so you can eat eat eat during that periode, probly not the safest way but Insulin does work. Also try using a multi-vitamin B12 like mentioned will increase your hunger.

I feel ya bro I hated eating lots of food. I couldn't eat alot either. I'd feel full all day off nothing. You should try spreading your meals out more, and eat smaller portions more times a day. like 6-8 I did that and after the first 3 days i was hungry all day long, and it speeds up my metabolism. It helped me ever since.

I think someone else mentioned just force feeding yourself. After a while, you're body will get use to the extra food and it won't be such a struggle to get it all down.

A little tip for when you are eating. Don't hunch over, for example if you eat on the couch while watching tv, your plate's on the coffee table (like I usually do) you'll be hunched over compressing your stomach. I suggest eating at the dining room/kitchen table, or sitting on the floor if you're eating in the living room. Make sure you're sitting up straight. This expands your stomach making it easier to fit all of that food in.
There's no scientific data behind this. It's just something that I've found that works for me.

I've smoked pot off and on for 11 years...and I just ran 2 triathlons last year...no affect on me....

Eq works great for some, but not for others. There are a number of effective ways if you want to take the chemical route. But I dont normally recommend them as the sides can be quite harsh. If you've truely done everything possible to pack down the extra calories and nothing has worked (and Im not sure you have) then I'd be willing to inform you about other options.
 
Yeah don't eat ALOT all at once, eat some throughout the day. Even if it's just a turkey,tuna,chicken sandwich every 2 hrs. The force feeding thing works and your body will adapt to it and start to crave food. I also found that if I eat a bowl of ice cream before bed I'm starving by the morning. hehe

Yah why is that? I get the same thing, when I eat ice cream b4 I go to bed, I wake up starving. I thought I was the only one.
