How do I get Bloodwork? What do i do?

I'm startin to get more serious with gear, so I want to monitor my health and take educated pre-cautions.

If i flat out tell the doc I'm on gear, then I hear that can permanately mess up my insurance for the future. So first question is, what do I tell the doc? And what do I tell him I want checked?.... or do they check for everything?

Question 2. How often should you get this done? Before and after every cycle? How soon before cycle, how soon after cycle?

Bump again, what would you tell a doc if you just wanted bloodwork and does insurance cover it if you just want bloodwork done??

Just go to a doc and se if he'll do the tests. If he gives you any flack go to another doc. Not all docs are asses and will do what you ask of them with little resistance. You would want to get one before you start at least a couple weeks, but no more than a month before you start and you want to get one a week or two after pct to see if your levels are back to mormal.

easiest way is to go to your family doc and tell him you have been feeling like you have no energy lastely...along with poorly sustained erections and lack of motivation. like you just dont want to do anything...you may have to request some endocrine studies to be done b/c he will probably be thinking depression or thyroid first. when you get these baseline results, do your cycle. during the cycle, (early on preferrably), change docs and establish a relationship with the new doc...ie, one visit for something unrelated like allergies or something. then a few weeks after PCT go to him with the same complaints i listed above and see where you are...you may even get some HRT out of it...you can just try it again with the same doc if you want...but he may get suspicious...if the doc is thinking depression he may ask you the SIG E CAPS questions...
-Sleep problems?
-Interest in normal activities decreasing?
-Guilty feelings about something?
-Energy level decreasing?
-Concentration problems?
-Appetite loss?
-Psychomotor issues?
-Suicide/homocide ideation?

if you have all normal lab values and 3-4 positives above (which you should since depression mimics low test) then you will go out with a diagnosis of depression and an SSRI! :)

to much troubles.... tell him your a gear head, and you want to go about it in the safest manner possible. say your gonna continue gear with or without medical supervision. if he is a good doc at all, he will not only check your shit, he will monitor it for you and tell you whats abnormal all the time :)

Or just go to the doctor and tell him you want a full blood panel, you don't have to tell him squat! I just did it last week, they asked me why I told them cause I like to know every year or so...DONE How easy was that?
