How do I add Deads, without compromsing something?

I want to add deads to my regular weekly split. Here's what I'm currently doing

Monday - chest abs calves
Tuesday - bi's tri's
Wednesday - Rest
Thursday - back shoulders
Friday - legs

I use 5x5 for all my splits. I figure I need to add it on Thursday and maybe remove 5x5 chin-ups and replace it with deads. What I'd like to do is start with deads for 5x5 and then go straight to chin-ups for 5x5 and then do my 2x10 of barbell rows and 2x10 of 1 arm rows. Will that be to much back and to much 5x5 effort?
I'm also concerned about doing it the day before leg day. Any suggestions about what to do? I also heard that since deads are so intense you only need them about every other week instead of once a week. Thanks for any suggestions.

yeah that would be too much on back in my opinion.

i would do the 5 sets of 5 deads. 2 sets of 10 pullups and pick one of the two row exercises you listed for your other 2 sets of 10 movement.

i would personally change up your routine. i like more recovery days if possible. you workout 4 days a week and rest three. when i was doing 5x5 i did 3 days training 4 days rest. this may help you to see more gains.

its just my opinion, but here is what i would do.

Monday - Legs
Tuesday - Rest
Wendesday - Chest/Tricep/Shoulder
Thursday - Rest
Friday - Back/ Traps/ Biceps
Saturday - rest
Sunday Rest

this gives you 72 hours from the time you will do deadlifts with back day on friday, untill monday's legs. and more rest, facilitates more growth.

So exodus do you think the 5x5 deads are more beneficial than the 5x5 chins overall. I ask because I love chins and wide grip pull downs. I guess putting the pulldowns as the 2x10 will work I just don't want to compromise anything, but that does sound like a good plan to get the deads in. As for a three day split I think I'll stick with the four days that's been working great for me plus I can only handle one or two groups at a time and keep my intensity at it's highest. Thanks for the help!

My goals? I want 250 by the end of January 2004. I'm currently 218 and change. I'd like to remain under 15%. I went from 202 to 232 in three months and from 11% to 13% during that bulk. I feel my new goal is possible and plan to try hard to reach it.
