how can i work the glutes?

i do lots of squats some deadlifts (need for) and lots of lungs.
are there other exersices i can do for the glutes to build muscle?

Pull throughs with different stances really keep mine sore...

Squat parallel and you will hit them. Other exercises that hit the glutes include:

Leg Press with feet high on platform
stiff leg deadlifts
 
only glute hams on a glute/ham mahcine work the glutes, the ones you do on the floor are strictly hams. Otherwise do a stiff legged deadlift for a similar motion to the part tha does work the glutes.

any sort of full squats will work the glutes.

as does lunges.

pull throughs - you do with a cable machine, facing away from the machine, pull some rope attachments between you splayed legs as you bend over, and then pull the cables until your upright.
Its basicly like a stiffed legged deadlift, but with a different resistance curve

that doesnt sound like an exercise i'll do at MY gym. too suggestive plus i dont want to make any new friends soon. hehe. i'll stick to the romanian deadlift in the corner where noone goes. :D

Well check this out.. Today I experimented with doing GM's in a smith machine with the foot position out infront of the body, and I must say, it hit the glutes pretty hard. I also got a "deeper" stretch in my hams. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

So you're basically sticking your butt out back to go down. I envision this straightening the legs which is what would stratch the hamns...interesting

Interested because my gym only has a smith machine.

Romanian deadlifts definitely hit the glutes, went heavier yesterday on em, and I see and feel the effects on my butt :)

But then again I also did ass to the grass squats, full front squats and deep sideways lunges as well, so its safe to say there is a cumulative effect!
