cardio is essential when trying to put on lean body mass....for me anyways....its a way to keep my diet in check and also increase my appetite.......never understood the ability to do cardio after training....my feeling is, if you train as hard as you should, there is no way you will be able to mustar up enough energy for 20 minutes of benefitial cardio........'
Bulking or not, I do cardio first thing in the am and train at night,,,,off days, I do cardio x2........However, when bulking, my intensity for cardio is much less......walking the dog or a 2 mile jog is adequate for me.......or 30-35 minutes on the elliptical....
