how big should my calves be if...

anyway to bring them up? any shock tactics. I usually do four sets 10-15 reps every 5 days on standing calf raise. could i inject them with gear?
 
From a symetrical BB perspective, it has long been said that your biceps, neck and calves should be the same size.

I work mine almost everyday alternating toes in/out/straight, sets, reps, exercises, etc.

For some calves could benefit from some Synthol therapy.

I'm a firm believer in diversifying your training. I never do the same workout twice. I vary my sets/reps/poundages. I'll train my calves every day that they don't feel sore.
 
ive always hurd neck,arms,and calves should be equal in size for good symetry. so im screwd!
my neck is 24 in.
my arms are 22 in.
my calves are 20 in.
 
24 inch neck. Holy fuck that is big, like a wild bear.
my neck is tiny as i am naturally a skinny weasel (15.5 inch), my arms 18.5 and calves suck at 16. i am right out of balance. fucked up beyond belief :)

my right calf is 20.5 inches and my left is 19 (knee injury on my left knee). How did they get that way?
about 6 or 7 sets of the following once per week

i'll toss about 4 or 5 plates onto the seated calf raise machine, jam my knees under the pad and do the following sets

Set 1: 50-60 reps nice and slow making sure I'm not using momentum to aid.
Set 2: 20 VERY SLOW reps with a tight squeeze at the peak of the rep

then I basically alternate these 2 types of sets a few times. By the time I'm done I typically can't walk right for a few minutes.

not that you need to follow that exact workout but you should probably increase your volume quite a bit. Out of all the muscles I have my calfs have the fastest recovery rate by far so really blasting them works well for me.
 
ok bro ta for advice. I have 6 inch ankles hence my calves will never be 20 inches, but 17 would look ok. Will start roasting them 2 x a week. Time for size!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :chomp:

Wow, 6 inch ankles! I dont have a big frame by any standards, but mine are just a bit over 9 inches- just measured. My wrist is almost 7 inches, so thats bigger than your ankle. I didnt think I had big bones compared to most people!

my ankles are 11 inches
my wrists are 8
 
Higher reps make my calves grow. Going up weight doesent seem to do much, but that high rep burn makes them grown and get all veiny.

did you change your cycle recently? or you still on prop? If you keep changing things around, you can start losing gains.

Answer: train "calves" , hard and heavy

i have big traps and they ride up high on my neck.it makes my neck measurement bigger.

Why not pump each calf with 50ccs of synthol over the next month or so? Even if it doesn't look like quality muscle you'll probably gain 1.5 inches on each calf- which should appear more proportionate than they do now. You could probably maintain them on 3ccs of Synthol/wk afterwards. Take notice I said 50 cc's-not 500cc's like that Valentino moron.
