HOT WINGS, how do you make them.

My hotwings suck. The way i make them right now is brown them up in the oven at 400, then cook them in a frying pan for 5minutes with louisana hot sauce, and 1/4 can of beer.
i like the ones you get at Applebeas, and hooters, and shit. mine never taste that good.
Any help would be appriacated.

We put a bottle of hot sauce in the container. Then put the wings in. Add another bottle of hot sauce, allow to marinate over night. Grill them until a light brown outside. They don't taste like Hooters wings, but they're friggin good.

The way they do it at most restaurants is that they fry them and put them into a small container with hot sauce and melted butter. Basically, all you do is mix butter and sauce to taste and then dump a bit into the cnotainer and shake the hell out of it.

Hooters wings rule. you can buy all their batter and stuff at a grocery store. They have them at Acme's and Food Lion's.

God, I just love Hooters hotwings.

Hey Gilby...wanna go on a date to Hooters tonight? I'll give you some real good desert.... ;)

Well a Little coon once jumped up on my shoulder and gave me this little secret....

Start by taking a container and filling it halfway with Vinegar...Next Take whatever hotsauce you like and fill it up to fill it. Then You take the wings and you place whatever powder Peppers and seasonings you want and place them in the container. Let them sit over night and take them to the grill and put some foil around it...Grill them SLOW heat for 15-20 minutes just to get them a bit crispy...Next Start up the frying pan and pour 2 table spoons of some sort of cooking oil and add the wings...Keep that pan on high for about 10 minutes and then put on med, when you do that take some of the baste from the container you set them in overnight and slowly baste them with a basting brush. Do this for 5 minutes over and over again during that time and then hit the pan on high again for another 5 minutes

WHen your done with all of that you should have some DAMN good wings

Buy a bottle of Frank's hotsauce and follow the directions on the back, they are awesome. I actually said fuck using those puny wings and I whip up a batch of hot-drumsticks!

drink enough captain morgans and your hot wings will taste like they came from the 4 seasons restaraunt.
DRINK TO MUCH CAPTAIN MORGAN, AND I WAKE UP THE NEXT MORNING, AND RELIZE THE OVENS STILL ON, WITH MY REALLY WELL DONE WINGS IN IT.

I've done something similar to that on a couple of occasions. That sucks.

Use TXCollege Guys deal.. except use White Vinegar.... it opens the pores in your mouth... or if you want them really hot, PM me and I will set you up with a cool place to order hot sauce. I collect it.

yeah White vinegar is the kind I have used...I should have made that clear.

Also something else you might want to try and do is add Some Garlic to the Vinegar/HotSauce...I think when it's on the grill it just sharpens the taste to everything that it's mixed with

You want to open up a southwestern grill with me?

I can fuckin cook like hell too!!!

There are 4 of them.. tell me what the bottle looks like. There is one calle Habenero 750 that is in a small bottle with an eye dropper... you gotta sign for it. It is 25 dollars.... HOT is not the word!!!

anybody from the boston area?

if so, you havent lived unless you have been to WINGS EXPRESS

i now live across the country, and i crave these wings today although its been 5 years. *sniff* I know they are still there because my bastard friend tells me all the new flavors they make

teriaky chicken
honey hots
spicey honey
honey bbq
atomic meltdowns

and the list goes on. they also sell platters large enough to feed 6 hungry beer drinking football fans... I have yet to see a chicken bone anywhere in the country that can even hold up a chicken bone to this joint... I think i need to see counseling because this is seriously depressing me telling you about these wonderful wings

regarding making wings, mine suck so i dont know but i think you need a deep fryer in order to really bring out the crispy chicken wing that is in hooters, applebees etc.

I would say the best wings I've had which I haven't made can be found in College Station Texas...I'm sure there are Texans on this board whom know what I'm talking about...Hooters has nothing on these babies...Well they still have Hooters

There is a place here called The Wild Wing Cafe... they have 100 diffrent flavors.... AWESOME!!!

chosser hit the nail on the head, there are alot of versions and techniques but this is the basic recipe, you can find this on the back of various brands of hot sauce, cookbooks, etc. If you want them to hold more sauce and be kind of "gooey" you can roll them in flour before frying. You can also bake or grill them instead of frying. Just experiment with different seasonings and brands of hotsauce to find your favorite flavor. Oh, and use real butter, not margarine, it makes a difference. Bon Appetit
