Hot investment tip: ishares

A dear, dear friend of Freddie's, powerful broker in New York, just game me this investment hint: ishares. They are a relatively new product (2 to 3 years old). You can own a country (I like that!), a type of business, an industry... The brazil one, because of the natural resources, has been consistenly upwards, with intraday returns of 1.17% and 2005 YTD return of 48%.

I've been involved with these since 2003/2004. They have been relatively hottttt lately.

What you're referring to are ETF's. IShares is just a name of the company affiliated by their parental company, Barclay's.
