Hopefully, this is the last post about The Fast and the Furious

First, let me say that I just saw it. I didn't mind it. It had its moments. Was it the most brilliant, make-you-think, feel good movie of our generation? Hardly, but it wasn't that bad if you take into consideration a few things. Which leads me to my second point. This is a drag racing movie. Nothing more. Let's not EVER forget this people. If you were looking for The English Patient or Saving Private Ryan or Titanic look elsewhere. Think back to all the drag racing movies that have come out since you have been watchin movies (or earlier). Were any of them spectacular cinematic achievements? Doubt it. THEY'RE NOT MEANT TO BE. They're meant to show off phat rides, ladies, and chase scenes. That's what they've always been about. QUIT LOOKING FOR ACADAMY AWARD MATERIAL! It's fantasy people. Quit looking for meaning, outstanding acting and above all quit looking for realism. Don't be so nit-picky. Its a movie. They don't always make perfect sense. Enjoy the visuals. Tell me you didn't like the cars!? If this has been said already, I apologize.

That must make a great sleeper car, who would think a Saturn would be packing a serious punch like that under the hood. As long as he didn't let anybody see what he was running, sure he could win some good bets

Well, I loved the movie, but then again ANYTHING with Vin Diesel in it, I love. Can't get any better than that!!
The movie itself was good too....or at least I thought it was. I'm not a very good "movie critic"...but I know what I like. I also HATE those little f***ing rice burners, but it did have some bad ass cars in it. Just the whole racing/action gets me all wet...lol. LOVE that stuff...and did I say Vin Diesel was a plus???
