anyone own one? anyone have a problem with that car? i know it screams rice.....but i am looking to get a car for the summer. and i don't want to spend more than 30,000. i was thinking with ssr ta3 rims (18's) and an hks exhaust it would sound and look pretty cool. maybe do an after market intake to help feed the v-tech. i think with 3000-5000 in mods it would be a pretty cool summer car.

i was thinking bike....but i just don't think its safe around here.

the new s4 comes out soon but thats going to run mid 40's

i'm just looking for something sporty...... i already have an 02 mountaineer premier edition

i've driven one...i really would love to pick one up with a blower on it. i think that would be a sick car modded being that its like 2800lbs. i just thought about the new cobra but i think those are hard to get.

its very high/free reving, parts are insanely expensive for repairs, not alot of torque, but overall a pretty decent car from all the reviews i have read.

For $30k, you can get a used Z06 Vette and spank most of the cars that are out there. Only thing is insurance will kill ya. As for the S2000, its convertible and got some power to it. Can't go wrong with it. But you might be stereotyped as a rice boy. Hey, as long as you are happy with the purchase thats all that matters.

good cars easy and fairly cheap to mod but i had 2 audi s4's and going from those babies to a wrx is like dating a hot ass blonde with beautiful tits to banging a midget with fake teeth

the evo 8 is amazing, might want to give it a shot.

the WRX STi model is pretty amazing as well, 300hp awd.

turbos are fun but thats why i tossed my s4's 1st one i blew the spring in the bpv and it got sucked into the turbocharger and shredded it. then 2nd one started acting funny. i had a 1.2 har chip that took it from 9psi stock to 16psi chipped. the stock throttle body boot tore from the added boost

the s4 is naturally aspirated v8 344hp 360 torque


they had some serious issues with the last s4 because the ECU could be swapped and in a matter of 2 seconds you went from 250hp to 310hp. the turbos weren't the problem,,,, it was the bypass valves and the intercoolers... they weren't meant to handle that kind of boost.

the only car i would own and not modify is a ferrari. but other than that every car is so easy to toy with. oh i'd leave the bently stock but i'd chip the porsche turbo

I think it looks like a chick car. The S2000 and BMW Z's all look like Miatas and like a Miata you have to be under 6' to fit comfortably. Great summer ride is a jeep or maybe a classic convertible (mustang, caddy, olds, etc..) If you are willing to spend in the 30's you can get a very reliable and beautiful classic.

when modifying any boosted cars there is three important considerations to make.

1) cooling
2) boost control
3) air restriction

always keep this in mind in the future if u are considering any turbocharged vehicle

i would only get an s2k if i was able to put the supercharger kit on it

Ya that 350Z is very nice. There will be alot of aftermarket parts coming out for that car.
