i wholeheartedly agree with anyone who hates him as a lyricist; he's weak. i enjoy his production, but i'd like to see him stray outside the old school sampling more often.
as for the album, i'd give it 3 stars out of 5. it will be overly praised for being different. hip hop is going to enter new frontiers the next five years for sure. good to see black musicians in the limelight making positive music and setting good examples.
