So I went and got my oil change today and the garage said that my car needs to be fixed.It is very dangerous!!!! Go figure.
Well they look me come inside the garage and look at it. Both axels on the front end are almost cracked all the way through..Fuck right! So he said he would give me a deal because of my car needing to be fixed right away and I have the kids.
the deal being 400 dollars!!!! Right well sure let me just pull that out of my wallet!

So yes when it fuckin rains it pours

Thats actually a serious problem, fix it while its there if i were you. Plus you know they arent fucking with you if they actually showed you the cracks.

I think the axel is being held on by a thread on each side! It was scary driving home and knowing that it could snap any moment...I am calling my bro and also my father in law.I dont know how complicated it is but they are both mechanics so many they can fix it for just the cost of labor.I dont know if I need a lift tho..Either way it will be getting fixed ASAP

dont fuckin drive it if thta shit is cracked or about to fall out. imagine driving a pole in the front of your car at 55mph....thats what could happen if you axel snaps and hits the ground. pole vault.

No kidding.I am scared. I stopped and bouth diapers on the way home and now it is sitting in the driveway. that bitch isnt moving at all unless it is driving to the shop

The axel rod? The guy said each side was about 250.That is including parts and labor but he was going to only charge 400 instead of 500.....Fuck I need to call some garages

not that you should put it off but, if your axle (or cv joint, or what have you) breaks on a front wheel drive car, nothing is going happen. . .other than you'll be sitting along side of the road. . .you won't be able to go anywhere but, your wheels aren't going to fall off. . .

Well I had my FIL look at it and he said that it is not a live or die situation but it does need to be fixed. He said that it looks like it was ripped or what ever, he has never seen it look like that before......So I called my bro and he said that the garage was most likely trying to scare the shit out of me to get some money out of me.And that the part runs for like 45 dollars a piece yet the garage wanted me to pay 140 each! Talk about shady shit....SO I am calling the family garage tomorrow and see if they will do it for about 200.That is half of what the gooks wanted to charge me.
