Holy Bleep

too many all stars = disaster.. everyone trying to steal the show!

It's about 9M less than the Branch deal, which was struck in a different market. Stallworth has produced more than Branch, has missed 1 less game, and has 10 more TD's in the same amount of time. So, is a better deal. Plus, wasn't the Branch contract 5 years for 39M with 14M guaranteed? This is 6 years 30M with 12M guaranteed

It is a little against their previous philosphy, but they trew big money at players before IE Seymour, Colvin, Derick Mason(ended up signing with Baltimore).

It's just they have alot of money to spend with not spening it last year and a increased cap.

stallworth has never had a 1000yd season and had the most td's his rookie season and is always plagued with injuries and dropped passes. Welker had one decent season last year scoring few td's. Thomas on the other hand is solid and will compliment their D well. They should try to get more youth in the draft at the saftey position. Harrison is getting old and a little banged up after many stellar seasons.

numbers aren't everything. Look at reggie bush. He didn't have the break out year everyone was expecting but I guarantee he was a major reason the Saints had a break out year. When he was on the field the defense was assuming he was getting the ball. he kept the defense on their toes, hence why they got out to a terrific start. and drew breis (so*) did well

Agreed with Stallworth, he does have some question marks. With Welker there are ZERO questions with me, if you can't look at that guy and not think he's a perfect fit for the Patriots offense than I don't know what to tell you.

He does have good hands. I ain't putting nothing past the pats though cause they do draft well. Unlike per say the lions.
