Hobbies???

I took piano lessons for 10 years but it's something I feel is really personal and I only play when I'm alone.
I read a lot. A lot a lot. I do quite a bit of needlework in the winter. I also spend quite a bit of time and money doing agility training with my dog. He's a hobby as much as he's a pet. I LOVE my bike too and hope to keep doing my 20-30 mile rise until the snow falls.

i don't consider lifting or any sports as 'hobbies' as exercise is as essential to your life and health as is eating and drinking
in my spare time i like to:
read (anything)
irritate the wife by playing my guitar
read through the threads on EF (very relaxing)
go fishing
watch movies/British comedy series (haven't watched any TV for 5 years now)
drink Guinness
toke a little hash
pretty much your average guy

Heh heh, sweet. My set is not quite like that though. I am not sure if this is just a local thing, or what, but basically, you take several pieces of 1" PVC pipe and make a little 3 rung ladder, about 2 foot wide by 3 foot tall. It should look something like this:

Make two of these and stick them in the yard about 30 feet apart.
Then you take two golf balls and drill a hole through the center of them. Take a piece of rope ~8-10" long and thread it through the balls and then tie the ends. Make 8 sets of these rope/ball things, half one color golf ball and the other half another color. Then, you and a friend each take one set of balls and stand at one of the ladder things. You then one by one throw your ball/string things at the other ladder, trying to wrap the ball/rope thing around one of the rungs. The bottom rung is 1 point, the middle 2, and the top 3. You alternate throws with your friend. Once all your balls have been thrown, you go pick them up and then throw from by that ladder thing. First one to 21 points wins. If you wrap one around a rung and then your buddy wraps one around that same rung, he cancels your point. It it wraps around the vertical pipe, you do not score. If the ball/rope thing falls off the rung you do not score. It's a great game to play while shit faced.
