Hmm...here's a question

most of you on the board know about my ex girlfriend and what happened between us this past summer..

anyways, she's been calling me A LOT recently down here in Atlanta (she's at WVU pharmacy school right now) and all we talk about is how great our relationship was and she gets all nostalgic on me and shit..and I do miss her still..anyways, she told me she still loved me and stuff adn she wants to be friends and to see where it might take us.

what should i do? i mean i'm tryin to play nice here, and i'm still in love with her and all and she like wants to hang out and see each other..

what should i say or do?

I think she wants to get back together but then again she is taking it REALLY slow, and I have to admit i want her back, but my new roomate has been tellin me not to do it. and not to see her again..but i want to badly..

Any comments?

here's a word of advice from experience. I dated my wife when she was a freshman at Clemson. We wound up breaking up early in her Freshman year and hated each other. For three years we despised each other. She called me up during her Senior year and invited me up for her sorority formal and I went. We started dating and wound up getting married and have been married for fourteen years. Go figure! You have to do what your heart says. If you have feelings for her and she has the same, take it slow but remember...distance away from each other is hard! If you think you can trust her, give it a shot. If not, don't even bother.

Kak -- if you can give yourself enough time to where your relationship with her does not constantly bring up the feelings that you've had over the last few months, but instead to where you look forward to seeing her and your emotions center around your good times and future good times with her. Take it as it goes.

I was in a similar situation with someone I truly loved but for stupid reasons it fell apart, we both were hurt deeply and are friends, but we both agree that we can never go back.
