How effective is HMB as part of a cutting phase which includes 2 sessions of cardio a day (on am the other pm) and 45 - 1 hour weights? My calorie intake now is close to 1 000 calories per day and the ratios are about 160g protein, 30g carbs and 12 - 15g fat.
Also what other supplements are good for retaining lean muscle mass (other tahn the usual protein sources)
