first time, I was 18, our parents pushed for it because I was pregnant. He broke my jaw and cheekbone...divorced in under a year...guys a douche and I can only hope he drops dead sometime
second time...21, married for about 7 yrs (and I'd known him since I was a teenager)...he traded me in for an 18 year old girl. I still talk to the guy daily and realized quite some time ago we probably shouldn't of crossed the friend line.
currently married, together for about 5 yrs...only married for a little over a year
and this has what exactly to do with you knowing jack shit about women? Because you don't....oh and if you're equating knowing something about women with knowing something about relationships...sorry fail..the two aren't mutually exclusive

i don't know shit about women...and i know even less about little girls...and i have a house full of them...they tolerate me because my heart is in the right place...most of the time...oh and, i'm living proof that you can have a very happy, fulfilling and successful relationship (21 years on october 21st) with an amazing, beautiful, intelligent woman without understanding a gawddamn thing about how they work or why they act the way they do as soon as you "figure them out"
they just go and fucking change anyway

i'm very careful about the whole "trying" thing at this point, as i've found that examining and trying to remedy the "situation" from a male perspective usually just gets me in trouble...instead i just try to be nice and focus on the fact that she's a fantastic wife/partner and the best mom i've ever seen and i try to fulfill her wishes (as long as the request won't result in obvious injury to life, limb or property) no matter how ridiculous they may seem to me...it's workin' out pretty well for me so far
