Yeah, I am bulking. Man do I feel stuffed too. That number includes over 3lbs of ground beef too.

Though I feel pretty special. First time in the 5 digits for me (at least that I have counted).

And I am not done yet. I still have at least one protein shake to go and I might also have a snack. ;)

Couldnt have done it if it wasnt for McD's though. 10000 clean cals would be pretty much impossible for me.
 
I still dont understand the point of all those calories. I mean if it's working for you than by all means continue, but I dont understand what use you would have for all those extra calories other than storing fat. An average bulk is around bodyweight x 20. Unless you weigh 500 lbs, or have an ungodly fast metabolism, what are all the extra cals for?

get real! trans fat waste muscle

try eating 5000 calories a day of clean food. its tough. if you can do that then you will get huge. eating large amounts of fats and sugars will turn you into a slob
 
Well, I am on cycle and sort of hit a plateau on weight gaining, so I decided to step it up a notch. Really the goal is going to be around 8000 cals, but I just wanted to see if I could do it for a day.

No, I am not just on some crazy McDonalds bulk plan, but yeah, I gotta through it in sometimes. And since come March when I start cutting, I cant engulge, I may as well do it now. I am actually not that big, 230 right now and only shooting for 240, so I think its doable. bf% is about 15 now and I plan to keep it there until starting to cut. Normally I think my metabolism is average or mid upper average, but on cycle it is through the roof, makes cutting good, but tougher to bulk.

I do have to say, it was much easer eating today, other than the pizza I threw down for dinner, have just been eating normal meals ever 2 hrs.

Doesnt your body have a cirtian ammount of calories that it could assimilate to muscle. And wouldnt your Maintainence calories plus the ammout of calories that can be assimilated, equal how many calories you need to grow.

This is just my opinion, cuz i gain alot of fat from 3500-4000 ultra clean calories. Is there something wrong with me?

3 large pies = rougly 10,000 calories depending on crust thickness and amount of cheese/sause
 
No, I only ate one PizzaHut pie with beef and extra cheese and dipping sauce. But that was just one meal. I ate meals all day long and added in the McD's double cheeseburgers for snacks too. Dang, I really am going to have to post all the food I ate. And I was hoping to not have to type it all out. Patience my friends, I am not going to do it tonight though.
 
has anybody ever heard of 'heart attack' or 'heart disease' when it comes to 'bulking'? I mean, I was watching a show the other night about nfl football players who are encouraged to 'bulk' by their coaches and then kaboom they get heart disease...
 
10,000 clean cals is easy as pie for a couple months i was taking in over 6,000 cals just in my own mixed super shakes alone. Stay right around 10% fat too with a real high tendency to get fat.
 
SUPER SHAKE

1.5 cups dry oatmeal 450 cals
4 tbsp natty pb 400 cals
4 scoops protein powder 440 cals
3 pacs splenda

1240 cals

Could be even more with milk but I never drink the shit.
over 100 grams protein!
Tates great oatmeal gives it a real thick wendys frosty like substance
 
thanks ,Im going to try those for sure when I bulk up,I add fat easy also and if you do aswell and didnt add much I think I can use them,any cardio added?
 
Yea I was taking in 6 a day plus a shit load of other food as well probly about 15,000 cals a day all clean as hell no salt or sugar ever! Never went above 15%bf was at 13% to start. Could lift like an ox. Cardio 6 days wk every morn 45 min walk at decent incline.

Not taking anything away from you, because if it works for you that's great... keep it up. But that must be an aquired taste like almost all food I eat when on a strict diet - they all taste like shit, but you get used to it.

Like Optimum Nutrition Pro Complex - that tastes like absolute garbage disposal water. On top of it, I sometimes add some flax oil... talk about a puke shake. Sometimes I gag when drinking it....

I think the flavor of your shake would be better than mine, but the thickness would kill me...
 
how in the sam hell did you knowck off 6 of those evryday???/ Where did you get the time? And there arent enough hours in the day for all that! You eating every 1/2 hour? You had to have some huge thousand calorie meals.....I need to see it to believe it....maybe for a day, but you'd be sick for 3.........
 
I could easily eat all day every day, ask my mom she thinks im fuckin crazy, sometimes ill have one of those shakes and directly afterwards have 2 dozen egg whites with 3 cans of tuna mixed in with a half cup olive oil and eat every last bite. A hour tops later I could eat again easily.

Ok, I had actually forgotten about this thread until I got a PM, so I figured I would go ahead and post this. My menu for my pig day:

4 scrambled eggs western style, with cheese ground beef, onion, salsa. (~400 cals for beef, ~400 cal eggs, ~220 cals cheese, ~25 salsa, ~20 onion) = 1065 cals.

4 Slices Oscar Mayer Bacon (138/slices) = 552 cals.

2 slices of toast with Smucker’s Strawberry Jam (128 bread, 110 jam) = 238 cals.

4 McDonalds Double Cheeseburgers = 1960 cals (490 each per website)

1 McDonald’s Supersize Fries = 610 cals (per website)

1 Friendly’s Colossal Wester BBQ Burger with fries = ~1800 cals (1520 burger, fries not listed, from corp nutrition guide)

1 Pizza Hut Pan Pizza (Beef, Cheese toppings) = 3840 cals (from their website)

2 Protein Shakes (whey and milk) (260 protein + 120 milk = 380 each) = 760 cals

2 Protein Shakes (above + 2 scoops gplenish=380+140, 520 each) = 1040

1 Cell-Tech Creatine shake (I know, I know) = 300 cals.

Plus a few miscellaneous things, handful of almonds here and there, drinks, etc. I find that the more stuff I have sitting around like nuts, the easier it is to throw some down without even thinking about it.

Total = 12,165 calories. I had originally figured on less for the Pizza and the burgers until I got the numbers from the web. So I went ridiculously high here. If you look at the food though, you can see that this is pretty easy and shows how the average consumer can end up eating way more than they think they are. I mean, think about this: Eggs, bacon toast for breakfast, burger for lunch and ½ pizza for dinner still puts you at close to or over 6000 calories.

Anyways, a couple of days later, around 8000 cals on those days, net result, up about 1-1.5 lbs total weight.

I think he was actually talking about Borg, where it looks like you are talking to me. Look at the food I posted, its not that hard to do. I thought it sounded hard too until I did it.

Anyways, if you are trying to get me to post pic, forget it, I dont do it, I never have. If you also notice, I dont post my cycles or lifts unless someone asks a specific question and then I try to help out. I never made any claims about bulking clean nor did I make any claims about my appearance. Someone asked me to post this, so I did. If you dont want to believe me, then thats your decision, but please dont question my credibility on the boards, I would hope that I have earned a bit more respect than that.

Like I said............MAYBE it could be done once and you wouldnt eat for the next few days..........but, there is now way this would be sustained..........not unless you were 400+lbs...........that's over 4 jars of ANPB! I have been close to doing in ONE......lol

I didnt eat any jars of natural peanut butter. No way could I eat a jar of that stuff. Look back at what I downed. Much easier to pounder burgers and pizza. I never said it was clean.

Mr. X knows people who eat 12000 cal consistently when bulking. I go high for one day and get the inquisition. Geez.
