HIIT while on keto?

would hiit on keto be a bad idea? Would you end up burning losing more muscles because of the carb deficiencies?
 
Matt we went over this... High intensity cardio is better for oevrall basal metabolism for a regualr diet but it requires carbs and glycogen because fat cannot be metabolised or convertded that fast. Once glycogen stores are gone and you are in ketosis your body will metabolize protein into glucose to fuel its imediate needs. If you are effectively in ketosis low intensity cardio is better and t3 should not be used

If you are *doing* HIIT then why do you need to be in ketosis? Do you like the way your mouth feels in the morning?
 
it was just a general question, no im not in ketosis i was just wondering if i happened to do a keto diet if hiit training would be worth it, but i guess not.
 
Do HIIT while on keto, and you COULD DIE.

...almost. You'll feel like complete poo afterwards.
 
Agreed, but since when has feeling like shit or even possible death been enough to stop anyone in the bodybuilding world from doing something, I put it in terms that would work for the goal oriented bodybuilder... Logic and sense are not things that go hand in hand with this passtime
