high red blood cells - testosterone enanthate

New member
hello guys,

I've injected test e. 250mg 4 days ago to see how my body will react and then to proceed with 500mg per week.

I did blood analysis today and my rbc is high

rbc: 6,36 (3.7-5.8)
hemoglobin 167 (115-170)
hematocrit: 0,51(0,35-0,54)

Is this normal reaction, should I proceed or stop the cycle?
Thanks

After one injection I don't believe the test E would be the culprit. Never really heard of test doing that, more common with longer EQ cycles I believe but anything is possible. Why did you wait until after your first pinning to get blood work bro?

high RBC is a very common and well known side effect of high test levels. That being said, high RBC levels are stressful to the heart and arteries. This is one reason keeping cycle length to reasonble time frames is important. You can also donate blood to drop your RBC levels.

Im interested in hearing your history as well. Cycling any AAS can increase RBC count and raise hematocrit over time and extended use. Donating blood often will help tremendously. I have an appointment to donate today myself

This is my first steroid cycle. I haven't used anything before, only supplements like whey, creatine and no reactors. I stopped using no reactor and creatine about a week ago.
After injecting 250mg of test I felt like I had a flu - tired,my eyes were red and I had a headache a lil bit. Today,I felt better.
I don't know what to do now, should I inject again and do blood test after a week to see what is going on or to stop using now.

It's the test.

I just had the same thing. This week my doc drained 3 pints of blood to get me back to normal.

For months I have been short of breath on slight exertion... But yet I could box/ kickbox train 3-4 hours a day... Ride the exercise bike etc... My doc sent me for heart and lung tests and everything came back great. Then he ran my CBC. The hemoglobin and RBC came back high.

Yesterday in the gym was amazing It felt like I took a 100 lbs weight of my chest.

No,I don't have heart issues. I really don't know why rbc is higher :/ Im going to do blood test again in a 2 weeks to see what's is going on.

High RBC and hemogloblin is not simply for those who have run cycles or are on TRT. My "normal" from childhood has been high RBC's which throws the rbc/wbc distribution off as well. For almost 20 years I've had one of the most extensive annual physicals out of anyone. I have no conditions or disease processes. Some individuals simply have larger numbers, as in my case. Years before I had ever heard of TRT and was only 21, I was told I would need to start donating blood on a semi regular basis. And when I started TRT many years later, my hemoglobin finally climbed and I started donating for that purpose as well.

do you live or were you born at an altitude above 3500 feet as your numbers are close to a "clean" endurance athlete is at---my numbers are much higher than yours (on purpose) and I can tell you it takes at least 2.5 months for test to raise those numbers (when I stack test/equipoise).

if those are your natty numbers and you do not born/live at altitude you need to see a specialist as you have polycythemia or some other similar issue,

No,I wasn't born and I don't live above 3500 feet. I read that dehydration can cause high rbc. I drink plenty of water, but I had a once diarrhea day before doing blood test, maybe that was a problem? :/ I will do test again in a week or two. Thank you all for help :)

Hold up do you really have to donante blood during an eq cycle?! Wtf is that about more info please

Sent from my SCH-I605 using EliteFitness

EQ will raise RBC count higher than any other AAS, and its usually ran long lengths of time (16-20 weeks), so it is a good idea to at least watch those levels. I would at least give blood after an EQ cycle and get the blood work to make sure RBC and hematocrit doesn't get too high

EQ is great enduro-compound due to RBC increase. However, EQ is cycled 12 weeks minimum. And runs long cycled. 16-20 weeks. So raised RBC over long periods is bad.. Donating blood will lower RBC.

guys he had one pin of 250mg of test. ONE PIN!! please don't tell me that that is what is causing his high RBC. thats nonsense.

he had it going in. and that number is really high and it will go higher on cycle

Well stated. But you never know man. I typically agree with you and mostly do on this. However, my cousin did test cyp for one shot and had nose bleeds and still does... That was 11 years ago. I know this because I gave him the shot.

Absolutely true. One shot of test isn't going to raise his RBC count like that. This problem was there from the get go

i'm guessing it was from the anxiety of the shot.

I have gotten headaches after injecting, and i've also gone into coughing fits (known as tren cough but even with other compounds) .. its just an allergic reaction your body sends out

I agree. The fact is, there is a 95% chance OP's issue was there pre-pinning.

After a recent doc visit when my count came back high, the 1st question they asked me was if I was a smoker? There are actually quite a few reasons you could have a high count without being on....a short list would include:

smoking, sleep apnea, living at a high altitude, dehydration...pretty common stuff.

Hi, jus browsing your site....I have to have 500 mL drawn every 2 weeks- wondering WTF? Does test cyp cause this?

I know this is old, but has anyone figured out more about this. I have slightly below normal RBC, and my doctor doesn't seem concerned. I want to start my first cycle tomorrow, but I have some CBC and a CMP test coming up. I am wondering if my RBC is gonna change to the extent that he worries.

YES! My endocrinologist has me do that in order to keep my rbc down. Also, I think B12 causes it to go up, although I haven't read up on that yet. Might be wrong.

Charles

B12 will raise RBC count but not by taking one dose, but it will if you run it on or off cycle thats why i recommend a blood pressure monitor for those who cycle especially,Hi BP can cause a stroke, heart attack and a host of other things plus it offers you peace of mind.
